Reference lacquer for the upcoming Volunteer 10″ has arrived. Can’t wait to throw this on the stereo and give a listen with the guys before band practice starts. “Lucky” Dave Eck did a superb job on the Volunteer 12″, and pretty much every other band’s record we’ve heard lately, including the Die Kreuzen “Cows and Beer” 12″ reissue on Beer City Records.

Dave’s attention to detail is second to none, plus he’s located in Madison, WI. We love the idea of spending our money locally. Hearing your own band on a reference lacquer is pretty much THE BEST it’s ever going to sound. This is the true “master” that the metal stampers and actual production records are made from.
