Volunteer has just announced their record release show at Cactus Club on October 11, 2014. It’s a “school night” so they’ve opted for a lean and mean, three band bill featuring Child Bite and Like Like the the the Death.

The 4-song EP is pressed on both opaque red w/black swirl (only 200 available) and standard black (only 100 available), standard weight vinyl. Pre-order your copy from either Volunteer or Forge Again Records via their respective bandcamp pages.
We just received our test pressings of the Volunteer “goner” 10″ today from United. Instead of adding the smokey black swirls, they’re simply translucent red. This means, not only are they test pressings, they’re also their own unique color! Can’t wait for band practice tonight. Stoked!
Can’t wait to throw this on the stereo and give a listen with the guys before band practice starts. “Lucky” Dave Eck did a superb job on the Volunteer 12″, and pretty much every other band’s record we’ve heard lately. Hearing your own band on a reference lacquer is pretty much THE BEST it’s ever going to sound.
