First of all, we’d like to thank Justin Perkins for getting The Rutabega’s audio premastered for vinyl before he left the country. We were able to hand off to Dave at Lucky Lacquers and we’ve already got the reference lacquer back.
Holy crap, that was fast! Dave at Lucky Lacquers is a machine. Not only does he do good work, his insanely fast turnaround has got our heads spinning.
Can’t wait to throw this on the stereo and give a listen with the guys before band practice starts. “Lucky” Dave Eck did a superb job on the Volunteer 12″, and pretty much every other band’s record we’ve heard lately. Hearing your own band on a reference lacquer is pretty much THE BEST it’s ever going to sound.
