Soup Moat and Volunteer were asked to contribute protest songs for a grass roots Anti-Scott walker CD/DVD compilation. Here’s a little information about the project.
UNINTIMIDATED: Wisconsin Musicians Against Scott Walker is a group of Wisconsin bands who convened in late August, 2015 to record a rapid-fire series of protest songs condemning Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. Each band had a two-hour block of time to record their song at Howl Street Studios in Milwaukee. Proceeds from the sale of this product will be donated to Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin and Milwaukee soup kitchens in the interest of assisting the lower-income citizens most threatened by Scott Walker’s regressive policies.
We are pleased to announce that Milwaukee veterans, Hot Coffin, have teamed up with Triple Eye Industries to release their much anticipated self-titled LP this year. The record is already at the pressing plant and we have tentatively set April 1, 2016 for the release – pending approved test presses are in-hand in a timely fashion. Record Store Day is upon us, so we’re at the mercy of the pressing plant. Stay tuned for pre-order information.

The fine folks over at New Noise Magazine are hosting a track premiere off the forthcoming Them Teeth 7″, The Knuckledragger – the song entitled “HammSlamm”.

the rutabega test presses have arrived, and boy do they look unique! Our rep at the pressing plant told us that the press operator ran out of side A labels, so both sides have B side labels, flipped over. They did this so we wouldn’t have to wait.
